Ingredients

  • Bombay Rava – 1 Cup
  • Sugar – ½ Cup
  • Ghee 2-3 Tsp
  • Cardamom Powder – 6-7 Cardmamom’s Crushed
  • Color - Kesar
  • Cashew Nuts & Raisins - Few

Instructions

  1. Fry 1 cup Rava with Ghee on Low flame ( Make sure Rava does not turn too Brown)
  2. Take little Ghee to fry Cashew Nuts & Raisins( Fry till it becomes golden brown)
  3. Add 2 ½ cup water + little Color & bring to boil
  4. Start sprinkling fried Rava slowly with continuous stirring.
  5. Before it reaches the required consistency add half cup sugar & Cardamom Powder and Continue to stir.
  6. Allow to Settle & enjoy the authentic Mangalore special Sheera
